ronald b. bass

Attorney at Law

Ron is a founding partner of Bass & Benabou, LLP.

Ron began his legal career in 1979 as an associate at the Law Offices of Alan Davidson. Five years later, in 1984, Ron founded the Law Offices of Ronald B. Bass. Ron has a unique wealth of knowledge that comes only from the many years he has had as a general practitioner. He takes great pride in the longstanding relationships he has maintained with his clients, and has enjoyed watching many of his clients’ families and businesses grow over time.

Ron received his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law in 1979, and his B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley in 1976.

In his free time, Ron enjoys hiking, biking, playing tennis, playing the piano, and spending time with his grandchildren.

sandra L. benabou

Attorney at Law

Sandra is a founding partner of Bass & Benabou, LLP.

Sandra began her career at the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office and eventually moved to private practice, where she primarily handled litigation matters. Sandra worked with Ron at the Law Offices of Ronald B. Bass for 10 years prior to founding Bass & Benabou. Sandra’s compassionate and kind demeanor instantly makes clients feel at ease, even through the most difficult times of their lives.

Sandra is a member of the Contra Costa County Bar Association, the Mount Diablo Business Women’s Association, Business Plus, and Rotary.

Sandra received her J.D. from John F. Kennedy University in 1998, and her B.A. from the University of California, Davis in 1992.

In her free time, Sandra enjoys traveling, running, and spending time with her husband, three sons, and two dogs.

DANA A. bass

Attorney at Law

Dana joined Bass & Benabou, LLP in 2020.

Prior to joining the firm, Dana clerked for The Honorable Mark E. Recktenwald, Chief Justice of the Hawai’i Supreme Court, and worked at The Legal Aid Society of Hawai’i, designing and implementing the Whole Child Project, which provided comprehensive and accessible legal services to Windward Oahu’s children and families.

Dana is a member of the Contra Costa County Bar Association and the Mount Diablo Business Women’s Association.

Dana received her J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law in 2018, and her B.A. from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2012. During law school, she was the senior publishing editor for Ecology Law Quarterly, and interned at various public interest and environmental law firms and non-profits.

In her free time, Dana enjoys hiking, cooking, reading, and spending time with her husband and two dogs.
